JONAH AND THE WHALE….
The number 3 is hidden within famous biblical stories and masked behind the vision and sight of those who both read and recite them.
Whether we are talking about the biblical plagues of Egypt whereby the land was covered in darkness for 3 days, or Jesus who was in the tomb for 3 days or whether we are talking about Jonah who was in the belly of the whale for 3 days, it is giving us an esoteric meaning.
And that meaning concerns the number 3 and our internal consciousness process.
I speak at length in my newsletters, books and talks/conferences and workshops about how the likes of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene and other biblical characters are really referring to our inner self and were never real individual people…this being one of the greatest secrets ever kept from the masses.
At Jonah 1:17, the Bible says: “Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.”
Why this specific time frame? well the name Jonah has several meanings but one of them is ‘He who Oppresses’ and in this case this means the oppression of his consciousness self.
The whale or leviathan is a symbol of spiritual darkness and when Jonah was in the belly of the whale for 3 days this is what is really being symbolized.
It takes 3 days for the sub-conscious mind to cleanse in order to ascend and that is exactly why we have Egypt covered in darkness for 3 days, Jesus in the tomb for 3 days (in reality the Cerebellum within the brain) and Jonah in the belly for 3 days.
So when he exits the belly of the whale after 3 days the sub-conscious is cleansed and Jonah is symbolically emerging into spiritual light.
So in the actual physical sense these events didn’t happen, but as part of our natural consciousness process they are, with the correct measures, occurring within us.
It is secretly telling us of this 3 day natural process of consciousness and ascension to the Christ Consciousness within…(higher enlightened consciousness)…
